As the Art Director of the UTRGV Ad Club, I wanted to create a logo that felt both timeless and bold. Something that honored the legacy of the club while making a strong visual impact. Drawing inspiration from classic advertising imagery, I incorporated a vintage-style illustration of a woman with a megaphone, symbolizing the power of communication and creativity.
To modernize the design, I introduced bold colors and textures, giving it a fresh, eye-catching look that stands out in today’s digital and print landscapes. The sans-serif typography reinforces this modern aesthetic, creating a clean and contemporary contrast to the retro-inspired illustration. The different color variations were intentionally designed for versatility, allowing the logo to seamlessly adapt across various marketing materials, including posters, social media, stickers, and branded swag.
